FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN IS EARTH DAY 2024 FESTIVAL?
SAVE THE DATE! 2024 Earth Day Festival is Saturday, April 27, 2024!
SO, IS THIS IS A TICKETED EVENT? HOW MUCH?
Yes, this is a ticketed music festival. However, it is a benefit. We’re donating 100% of proceeds to the three local environmental organizations chosen for 2023: Ozark Society, Compost Collective, and Springfield Greene Co. Parks.
HOW DO I GET MY TICKETS?
You can purchase tickets on our website or through the official Earth Day Festival Facebook page.
WHAT DO I DO FOR PARKING?
Because parking around Jordan Valley will be limited, we are offering free shuttle service for the first time this year to the fest! The Ice Park lot will be closed to visitors, and the garage across the street will be open for a fee (note: there is a Cardinals game in the evening!).
However, OTC (Ozarks Technical College) has graciously offered to let us use their lots at the corner of Sherman and Bob Barker Blvd. Shuttles will be running back and forth beginning at 10.30am until the end of the fest, so park at OTC for free and ride on down to the fest! We’ll have signs designating the lots and shuttle stop. And of course, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention that we absolutely encourage biking and carpooling!

Also, bring your lawn chairs and refillable water bottles! No dogs, please.
WHO'S ALL PLAYING?
2024 festival lineup will be announced later this year!
WHAT DO YOU MEAN, PLASTIC-FREE? DOES THAT MEAN THERE WON'T BE ANY BEER CUPS OR WATER BOTTLES?
Our goal is to have this as a “leave no trace” event; in other words, no garbage to be left onsite. We are also eliminating single-use plastics. In lieu, we are providing everyone with the opportunity to make a one-time purchase of a commemorative, refillable, stainless-steel cup that you can use throughout the day to purchase beer (and take home, they last forever!). We will not have plastic water bottles for sale, but we will have hydration stations for people to refill their own water bottles. That means free water! You don’t have to worry about spending $10-20 on water bottles throughout the day. We strongly encourage bringing your own water bottle to the festival, and if you don’t have one, there will be a limited amount of reusable cups by the hydration stations from which to drink.
WILL THERE BE BEER FOR SALE?
Mother’s Brewing Company will be providing several options for beer for purchase throughout the duration of the festival in your commemorative cup. Sorry, refills are not free.
WILL THERE BE FOOD FOR SALE?
Food will be provided on site for purchase.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Nope. We apologize for any inconvenience.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
This is a rain or shine event, and tickets are non-refundable. In the event of storms or ice, we will be moving the event indoors.
KID-FRIENDLY?
Absolutely, and kids 12 and under get in free with an adult! Earth day works to make sure there are activities on site for the kiddos, such as storytelling and playground equipment, in addition to the music.
DO YOU ENCOURAGE BIKE-RIDING/CARPOOLING TO THE EVENT?
Yes! We put this leading question in here even if you weren’t thinking of asking it. In the spirit of fuel economy, we encourage joining the pre-fest bike ride, walking, or carpooling to the event.
